It's that time of month again. Glossybox! I wasn't in when this months box got delivered, so had to wait 48hrs to collect it. So tense. I've just got back from the post office (which is why the lighting is so awfully shit, sorry), but wanted to show any possible GB followers what I got this month.
To anyone who doesn't know what Glossybox is - it's basically, a box you receive once a month, full of 5 high-end travel sized products. The case usually is, that one or two of them are full-size - which is why it's so easy to get the money back on your products! It's £10.00 a month, plus £2.95 P+P, so basically £13.00 for a nice monthly treat, delivered to your door.
In the box...
1. ARBONNE FC5 - COOLING FOOT CRÈME: Moisturising, non greasy, foot crème hydrates rough, dry skin and soothes, cools and comforts tired feet. - Full size is £19.00
2. DEAD SEA SPA MAGIK - DEAD SEA BATH SALTS: 2011 beauty awards winner. Fantastic for alleviating dry skin conditions as well as a natural exfoliant, Dead Sea Bath Salts remarkably improves skin texture. Full size is £5.50
3. MONU - SKIN PERFECTOR: A weightless cream which instantly smoothes imperfections and enhances natural radiance as it glides onto the skin. Full size is £16.25 (I received full size product)
4. NAIL ROCK - DESIGNER NAIL WRAPS: The new Nail Rock designer nail wrap range is designed to last unto 7 days on the nails, or unto 8 weeks on the toes. They won't chip or stain the nail, require no drying time and deliver on trend style, in just 15 minutes. - £6.65 (I received full size product)
5. SERGE LUTENS - L'EAU SERGE LUTENS & VITRIOL D'OEILLET - Full size £86.00
On the whole, I'd give the box 3/5. Unfortunately, there were no makeup products, which are always nice to see in the boxes. I think my favourite thing probably is the makeup base Monu Skin Perfector, as I'd probably use it most.
I was most pleased to see the Nail Rock nail wraps, I nearly bought some striped ones from Topshop the other day! I haven't had the chance to apply them yet, but I think that I'll definitely be using them on my toes, as they last MUCH longer. I received the black and white spots, but I've seen that they sent out leopard print, vertical stripes, and red lace. I'm very pleased with my spot themed ones!
Slightly disappointed with the fragrance samples, quite frankly, they smell like what my mum used to wear. I'm really not a massive fan of them, they're overpowering and not very subtle. I've read that a few other bloggers have received the Illamasqua 'FREAK' sample - which is their first fragrance, which I'd have loved to have had in my box.
As for the Sea Salts... not quite a luxury product. I don't really like using products in the bath, I always feel dirtier after I've come out, coated in soaps and exfoliants. I'm sure they'll come to use sometime soon though.
If you got the November box, what did you think? Which wraps did you get?
I'll be posting again soon, promise. x
