Fashion Design Handbook
Slightly random post, I know, but for any fellow fashion illustration lovers, you'll love this book; it'd be rude not to share.
Over Christmas I invested in a few fashion illustration books. I'm not sure if anyone else agrees, but I personally love having art books on my shelf. It's so much nicer to flick through a book, rather than browse around on websites like DebutArt (possibly the best artist reference website around - check it out). I picked The Fashion Design Handbook up for £6 from a vintage fair, the lovely lady who sold it to me said she'd had lots of use out of it, but no longer needed it. I only had a quick flick through at the fair, but snapped it up for £6. The book itself is at least 7cm thick, with at least 600 different poses.
I can't wait to photocopy pages and draw and work back into them, the poses are all so different, and there male and female too. You can pick it up on Amazon for about £13 - a bargain if your into fashion illustration or fashion design!
